Creamy Alfredo Bacon Soup

Ingredients

  • 1-23 ounce bag Birds Eye Alfredo Chicken Voila!®
  • 2 slices thick cut bacon, chopped
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
  • ½ cup corn
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ cup shredded 6 Cheese Italian Blend cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

In a large skillet, cook bacon, onion, garlic and red bell pepper until soft, about 10 minutes; set aside. Prepare Birds Eye Alfredo Chicken Voila according to package directions in a large stockpot. Add bacon mixture, corn, chicken broth, milk, basil and cheese. Bring to a low boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 -15 minutes, stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with additional shredded cheese if desired.
