Open Pit Honey: Indianapolis
Makes approximately 2 cupsIngredients
- 2 Cups Open Pit Honey BBQ Sauce
- 1/2 cup Bourbon
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 3 scallions, chopped fine
- 1 tablespoon minced rosemary
Directions
Combine all ingredients in heavy large sauce pan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer uncovered until sauce thickens, stirring frequently.
Note: This sauce only gets better once aged.
