Sausage, beans, rice skillet
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 2 cans (5-oz. each) ARMOUR® VIENNA SAUSAGE, broth reserved, sausages sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp powdered sazón
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 15-oz. can black beans or garbanzo beans, NOT drained
- 1 can (14.5-oz.) stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup water
Directions
Heat oil in large skillet. Add sausages, onion, green pepper, garlic and sazón. Cook until sausages are lightly browned and vegetables are tender. Stir in rice, beans, tomatoes, reserved broth from the Vienna Sausage can, water and heat to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Cook 20 minutes or until rice is done.
