Bob Gamgort joined Pinnacle Foods in July 2009, bringing with him 23 years of experience leading food, service and entertainment businesses.

Prior to Pinnacle Foods, Bob was North American President for Mars Incorporated where he led an $8B portfolio of snackfood, petfood, pet hospital, retail, and main meal businesses. Under Bob’s leadership, the North American unit delivered industry-leading market share and financial performance through organic growth, new business creation and strategic acquisitions.

Bob came to Mars from Major League Baseball where he had been the President of Major League Baseball Properties. He is credited with delivering strong growth in licensing and sponsorship revenue as well as for creating marketing strategies that increased television ratings in key national events.

Bob started his career at General Foods, which later merged with and became Kraft Foods. At Kraft, Bob progressed through a series of Marketing, Sales, Corporate Strategy and General Management assignments.

He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a BA in Economics from Bucknell University and studied at the London School of Economics.

Bob has received numerous marketing and advertising awards and has been listed as one of the “50 Most Powerful People in Marketing” and "50 Most Powerful People in Sports Business."

He is a Trustee for Bucknell University, co-founded the Bucknell Consumer Products Network and board member for the Bucknell Business Advisory Board. He also serves on the New Jersey State Employment Training Commission and is a Trustee for the Schiff Natural Lands Trust.
